Former partner, B. D Hickok (now deceased) played a crucial role in advancing Calista Corporations’ mineral projects and recognizing Donlin Creek as its most important property. Working with Hickok, partner R. M. Retherford worked eight seasons including four full years from 1986-1996 of work with the Calista Corporation culminating in the advanced exploration of the Donlin Creek Project by Placer Dome Exploration (now owned by 50% Barrick Gold US and 50% NovaGold). Another former partner, T. K. Hinderman (now deceased) played an important role during the early exploration of the Donlin Creek Project and had a lead role in exploration of the Goodnews Bay Platinum property partially controlled by Calista Corporation. While studies at Donlin Creek are on-going, there is no doubt that Placer Dome identified a major gold deposit with announced resources of over 30 million ounces of gold. AES assisted Barricks’ Donlin project during the winter of 2007 by setting up a logging facility and sampling 13,000 meters of core in 6 weeks. For that exercise half of the crew were Calista shareholders. |

AES has helped market the resources of Bristol Bay Native Corporation intermittently since 1991 and continuously since 1996. R. Retherford and former partner T.K. Hinderman have developed brochures, prospectuses, property summaries and convention booth displays. AES has recently begun managing a large exploration effort in the Bristol Bay Region for porphyry copper/gold and tin/silver deposits, and local hire was a priority for the spring-time IP geophysical efforts supported by snow machine and summer exploration supported by 4-wheelers. AES has supervised 7 separate diamond drilling companies in the BBNC region since 2007. |

W. T. Ellis managed an extensive exploration program for Battle Mountain Gold in the Aleut Region from 1987-1991. He also prepared a mineral prospectus and provided mineral exploration consulting for the Aleut Corporation in 1992-94. He collaborated in the publication of USGS maps of Unga Island and the Alaska Peninsula. Since 2004, AES has helped direct exploration activities on Aleut land in the Port Moller Quadrangle. AES is currently updating the Aleut lands mineral prospectus. |

Alaska offers the unique opportunity to work with Alaskan Native Corporations and their local shareholders. Over the years, our primary task has been to find mineral resources, and some of our most gratifying relationships have come from working with the people who live and work in rural Alaska. During the early exploration years at Donlin Creek, Rob Retherford played an important role in pursuing a shareholder-hiring program to ensure that locals had a chance to learn about and be employed in the mining industry. Bill Ellis has also been adamant about involving the local community including village shareholders in remote areas of Alaska. |

AES’s GIS department created and updated GIS datasets for the Koniag Digital Land Status Project. A Geodatabase was created to show current land status, easements, and geologically potential areas found through-out the Koniag region. Bill Ellis was also instrumental in developing a mineral prospectus for the corporation that was supported with GIS. AES continues to provide Koniag with GIS support as requested. |

Bill Ellis started his career in Alaska in 1973 working with several shareholders in the Ambler district of the NANA Region. More recently, AES has provided geologic GIS support as requested by NANA. In 2008 AES provided several core loggers to the Red Dog Mine, and in 2007 AES managed a large exploration project in the NANA Region. |
